I was born in Tokyo and raised in New York, Sydney, and Singapore. I returned to the US for college and to start a career in investment banking before finding my true passion in yoga.
My classes and personal practice are constantly evolving, though strongly rooted in ashtanga yoga. I combine a dynamic asana practice with intelligent sequencing and a strong focus on alignment.
Training & Education: I earned my 200-hour certification with Alanna Kaivaliya and Kay Kay Clivio, and my 300-hour advanced yogic studies certification with John Campbell, Ph.D. at Pure Yoga in New York City. I also completed a 200-hour Hatha teacher training with Yogi Charu, a 100-hour Bhakti teacher training with Raghunath Cappo and a 100-hour Ashtanga teacher training with Kino MacGregor. In addition I completed a 30 hour advanced adjustments intensive with David Regelin and a 30 hour assists intensive with Dylan Werner.
